Meet the team – Jen Matev
Jen recently joined our team as the Director of Client Engagement. She will be responsible for keeping you informed of headlines in the industry, as well as keeping you up to date with what is happening in our office! She will be active on our social media sites, will be writing for our blog & newsletter, as well as coordinating events!
Prior to joining Priebe Wealth, Jen had several years of experience in wealth management and comprehensive financial planning. She has obtained her series 7, 66, and 63 securities licenses through LPL Financial and holds a Minnesota Insurance License.
In her free time, Jen enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her fiancé and their two dogs. We asked Jen some more questions to get to know her below:
What is your dream travel destination?
I would love to visit Australia someday. Bondi Beach looks incredible!
What is one thing most people don’t know when they first meet you?
My family is from Bulgaria, and I grew up speaking Bulgarian until I started kindergarten and learned English.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
If it’s in the summertime, I’m probably outside! Walking my dogs, running around the lakes or golfing with my fiancé. In the winter, you’ll find me working on projects around the house or planning our wedding (this year)!
If you could only eat one type of food forever, what would it be?
I love Greek food! I’m a fan of anything with feta.
What is your favorite sport to watch and what team do you root for?
One of my favorite memories as a kid was going to Wild games with my dad after school. I’m a big Wild hockey fan because of that, and I’m always cheering for my alma mater, Iowa State, in football and basketball as well!
